Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE_DATE] Last updated: 2026-02-19

This policy governs use of the Raiden API and is incorporated into the Terms of Service.

You may use the Raiden API to:

  • Optimize vehicle routes, schedules, and workforce assignments for your own operations
  • Build applications and products for your customers that embed route optimization functionality
  • Benchmark and evaluate the Service for your use case
  • Integrate with your logistics, field service, or supply chain systems

You must not use the Service to:

  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Raiden system or network
  • Attempt to circumvent or disable API authentication, rate limits, or access controls
  • Submit requests designed to cause denial-of-service conditions
  • Interfere with any other customer’s use of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or algorithms underlying the Service
  • Use the Service to train, fine-tune, or distill a competing optimization model or service
  • Systematically extract solver outputs for the purpose of replicating the Service
  • Use the Service in violation of applicable law or regulation
  • Process personal data in violation of GDPR or applicable privacy law
  • Use the Service in connection with illegal surveillance, tracking of individuals without consent, or stalkerware
  • Use the Service to facilitate human trafficking, smuggling, or other criminal logistics operations
  • Falsely claim that route outputs were produced by a system other than Raiden in a context where disclosure is legally required or where the misrepresentation is intended to deceive end-users about the nature of the optimization (white-labeling route optimization into your own product is permitted under a Reseller Agreement)
  • Impersonate Raiden or any Raiden employee
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label raw API access without a written Reseller Agreement with Raiden

Rate limits apply per API key and vary by plan tier. Current limits are published at raiden.dev/docs/rate-limits and may be updated with 14 days’ notice.

Requests exceeding limits receive HTTP 429. Persistent circumvention of rate limits (e.g. rotating API keys to bypass per-key limits) is a policy violation regardless of plan tier.

Maximum input payload: 5 MB per request. Requests exceeding this limit are rejected with HTTP 413.

We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts whose usage patterns degrade service quality for other customers, even within plan limits.

  • You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all data submitted to the API.
  • You must ensure you have the right to submit any personal data included in API payloads.
  • Raiden’s outputs are decision-support tools, not operational mandates. You are responsible for human review of optimized routes before deployment, especially where outputs affect employee working conditions, safety, or regulatory compliance.

We reserve the right to:

  • Warn you of a suspected violation
  • Throttle API access pending investigation
  • Suspend your API key immediately if we determine a violation poses risk to the Service or third parties
  • Terminate your account for repeated or material violations
  • Report illegal activity to relevant authorities

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before suspension except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Service, other customers, or third parties.

If you become aware of misuse of the Raiden API, please report it to [COMPANY_EMAIL]. We investigate all credible reports.

We may update this policy with 30 days’ notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
